Job summary

OMC Australia in Dandenong South, VIC is seeking permanent full-time skilled meat workers (boners and slicers) to join its state-of-the-art beef boning facility. The role requires excellent knife handling, precision in removing cuts from carcass sides and quarters, and the ability to pass a skills test.

Applicants must be physically fit and willing to undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol screening. Full-time, Monday to Friday with an early start at 5.15am.

Job description

OMC Australia is a long established and growing meat processing company offering an extensive range of premium beef products to the retail, food service, wholesale, domestic and export markets.

We are looking for a Permanent Full-Time experienced Skilled Meat Workers (boners and slicers) to add to our team for our State-Of-The-Art beef boning facility in Dandenong South, VIC.

Must have/be:

• Excellent knife handling skills
• Proficient at removing cuts from carcass sides & quarters, using specified cutting lines whilst retaining maximum yield.
• Able to pass a skills test.
• Physically fit.
• Willing to undergo pre-employment drug& alcohol screening.

Full time positions, Monday to Friday. Early start required (5.15am).

Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000 per year commensurate with experience
