Job summary

QA Build is seeking a Skilled Labourer/Carpenter for our Burnett Heads site to assist with residential builds. This hands-on role offers consistent hours, casual engagement with potential for full-time progression, and the opportunity to contribute to premium GemLife communities across Australia.

You will support trades with carpentry, use hand and power tools, and help ensure high-quality handovers on schedule. White Card and own transport are preferred; drivers license required.

Qualifications

• Carpentry, construction or labouring experience.
• White Card and valid driver’s licence required.
• Own transport and reliable attendance essential.
• Cert III in Carpentry preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist trades with carpentry and general construction tasks.
• Use hand and power tools as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized site.
• Support the team to deliver homes on schedule.
• Assist with final detailing and handovers of completed homes.

This is hands‑on, practical work with consistent hours, helping us deliver quality homes to our residents on time and to the highest standard.

What you'll be doing:

• Assisting trades with carpentry and general construction tasks
• Using hand and power tools as required
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised site
• Supporting the team to deliver high-quality homes on schedule
• Assisting with final detailing and handovers of completed homes

What we're looking for:

• Previous carpentry, construction, or labouring experience
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
• White Card, driver's licence, and own transport
• Positive attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed
• Cert III in Carpentry (preferred but not essential)
