Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes per the menu and standards.
• Weigh, measure and mix ingredients according to recipes and methods.
• Assist with menu planning and maintain portion control.
• Season and combine ingredients to achieve target flavour and texture.
• Monitor kitchen temperatures for safe cooking and quality.
• Store marinated items and other materials using FIFO and safe handling.
• Prepare dishes to accommodate vegetarian, vegan and allergen needs.
• Check ingredient freshness and quality during prep.
• Plate and garnish dishes per presentation standards.
• Support junior kitchen staff and maintain hygiene and safety.
