Singh's Curry House in Narangba, Queensland, is hiring a full-time Cook to join our team. You will prepare and cook authentic Indian tandoori and curry dishes and maintain high standards of taste and presentation.

The ideal candidate has at least 12 months' experience in Indian cuisine, strong teamwork and communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Salary ranges from 75,000 to 78,000 AUD plus superannuation.

Singh's Curry House is seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team on a full-time basis at our Narangba location in Queensland, Australia.

As a Cook at Singh's Curry House, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious and authentic Indian tandoori and currydishes. Your main duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing and cooking a variety of Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori meats and breads.
• Ensuring all dishes are cooked to perfection and are presented according to our high standards
• Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, following all food safety and hygiene standards
• Assisting with menu planning and creating new and innovative dishes
• Ordering and maintaining inventory of ingredients and supplies
• Training and supervising kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to all recipes and food safety procedures
• Collaborating with management to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation
• Providing excellent customer service and addressing any customer concerns or special requests.

The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months of experience working in an Indian restaurant, with a strong knowledge of Indian cuisine and tandoor cooking techniques. They must also have excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time position with a salary range of $75,000 to $78,000 per year, plus superannuation. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity for growth and development within our expanding company.
