Job summary

Qualifications

• Solid food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work efficiently and manage time during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Preparing ingredients and cooking meals according to café standards and recipes.
• Checking food quality, taste, presentation and portion sizes.
• Keeping the kitchen and food preparation areas clean and organised.
• Following food safety and hygiene procedures and using kitchen equipment safely.
• Monitoring stock and advising management when supplies need replenishing.
• Working with the team to keep service running smoothly during busy periods.
• Supporting participants to develop practical workplace and hospitality skills.
