Job summary

Core Talent is seeking a hands-on WHSE Business Partner for a site-based role in Greater Western Sydney. Reporting into the WHSE function, you will drive safety, health, environment and quality across operations within a large industrial site.

You will lead audits, develop management systems, and embed a positive safety culture while delivering reporting and governance to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in WHSE or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and compliance requirements.
• Experience within waste, manufacturing, industrial, processing or other operational environments.
• Proven experience managing WHSE management systems, ideally within an ISO-accredited environment.
• Strong reporting, documentation and organisational skills.
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a genuine interest in driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continually improve WHSE policies, procedures and management systems.
• Maintain ISO-aligned management systems and support ongoing accreditation requirements.
• Provide practical WHSE advice and guidance to site leadership and operational teams.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Monitor compliance with relevant WHS and environmental legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee injury management and return-to-work processes.
• Manage WHSE reporting, documentation and compliance requirements.
• Support the development and delivery of site-specific WHSE initiatives and improvement plans.
• Promote engagement, accountability and a positive safety culture across the operation.
