Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking a Work Health Safety Business Partner to drive safe, healthy and thriving workplaces across residential care, housing and community services. You will partner with leaders to implement WHS initiatives, build capability through training and lead risk assessments, investigations and audits to strengthen safety performance.

You will influence culture, support continuous improvement and deliver practical solutions that improve workforce wellbeing across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or equivalent qualification.
• Experience developing and implementing WHS programs and initiatives.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations and audit activities.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills.
• Experience delivering training, coaching and capability-building initiatives.
• Current driver's licence and willingness to travel across Anglicare sites which may include occasional overnight stay in regional areas.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to identify WHS risks and develop practical risk management and wellbeing plans.
• Support the delivery and continuous improvement of WHS frameworks, programs and management systems.
• Build workforce capability through training, coaching, mentoring and learning initiatives.
• Facilitate complex risk assessments, investigations and incident management activities.
• Conduct audits, reviews and assurance activities to strengthen compliance and performance.
• Analyse safety data and provide insights that support decision-making, reporting and continuous improvement.
• Lead and support cultural change initiatives that promote health, safety and wellbeing across the organisation.
