Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking a WHS Business Partner to join the Health, Safety and Wellbeing team. You will develop and implement health, safety and wellbeing initiatives across residential care, housing and community services, partnering with leaders to improve safety performance.

You will lead risk assessments, audits and incident investigations, build capability through training, and drive cultural change to create safe, thriving workplaces across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or equivalent.
• Experience developing WHS programs and initiatives.
• Experience risk assessments, investigations and audits.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel across Anglicare sites.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to identify WHS risks and develop practical risk management and wellbeing plans.
• Support the delivery and continuous improvement of WHS frameworks, programs and management systems.
• Build workforce capability through training, coaching and learning initiatives.
• Facilitate complex risk assessments, investigations and incident management activities.
• Conduct audits, reviews and assurance activities to strengthen compliance and performance.
• Analyse safety data and provide insights that support decision-making, reporting and continuous improvement.
• Lead and support cultural change initiatives that promote health, safety and wellbeing across the organisation.
