NW People Group is seeking an HSE Business Partner to support safety, wellbeing and compliance across NSW and nationally. The role partners with branch leaders, managers and customers, driving positive safety outcomes in warehousing, logistics, manufacturing and labour hire environments.

This hands-on role blends field-based safety support, coaching, investigations, audits, injury management and continuous improvement. Based at Wetherill Park with travel across NSW and interstate as needed.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety is the minimum requirement.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
• Practical, solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
• Ability to influence, coach and support leaders at all levels.
• Willingness to learn, develop and build a long-term career in Health and Safety.
• Travel regularly throughout NSW.
• Experience within labour hire, manufacturing, warehousing, transport or logistics.
• Return to Work or workers compensation experience.
• Drug and Alcohol testing qualifications or willingness to obtain.

Responsabilités

• Support workplace incident investigations, including identifying root causes and corrective actions.
• Assist with the implementation and monitoring of corrective and preventative actions.
• Conduct workplace inspections, site audits and safety observations.
• Undertake risk assessments, hazard identification and risk management activities.
• Support Return to Work and injury management processes.
• Assist with workers compensation and injury prevention initiatives.
• Deliver toolbox talks, safety communications and workplace training.
• Maintain safety records, reports and compliance documentation.
• Participate in internal audits and support external audit activities.
• Assist branch leaders and operational teams to manage safety risks and compliance requirements.
• Participate in client safety reviews, inspections and meetings.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Build strong working relationships with operational teams, customers and other stakeholders.
• Conduct Drug and Alcohol testing as required.
