Job summary

Downer Group's Logan Water team seeks an experienced Site Supervisor for water and wastewater construction projects in the Logan region. You will own day-to-day site activities, coordinate crews, plant and materials, and work closely with Project Managers and Engineers to deliver plans safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Extensive supervisory experience within civil construction.
• Water sector experience is highly regarded.
• Strong experience planning, setting up and delivering construction works.
• Proven capability managing subcontractors and site-based crews.
• Sound knowledge of construction programming, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
• Frontline Management qualification or equivalent.
• Ability to think on their feet, communicate clearly and stay level-headed when the plan changes.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of day-to-day construction activities across your projects
• Lead work crews and manage subcontractors onsite
• Plan and coordinate labour, plant, equipment and materials
• Keep works moving against programme while maintaining quality standards
• Stay ahead of site issues and work with Engineers and Project Managers to find practical solutions
• Set the standard for safety, environment and risk management onsite
• Build strong relationships with crews, contractors and project stakeholders
