Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment in Sydney seeks an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee a residential development in the South West Sydney region. You will take ownership of day-to-day supervision and delivery, coordinating trades and site activities to keep the build on schedule.

This role requires at least 3 years in supervision, a solid residential background, relevant trade qualifications, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a supervisor role.
• Solid residential construction background with tenure.
• Cert III in Carpentry and Cert IV in Building and Construction preferred.
• Experience managing multiple sites.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

Job description

Our client is well known for building new homes, townhouse developments and multi-dwelling projects across NSW.

They are now looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to join their team and oversee a new development in the South West Sydney region.

The role:

• Take ownership of the day-to-day supervision and delivery of a residential development
• Plan and coordinate trades, labour and site activities to keep the project progressing to schedule
• Manage both direct employees and subcontractors on site
• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing clear updates on project progress
• Monitor site performance, quality and timelines, ensuring expectations are met throughout the build
• Identify and resolve any issues that arise on site in a timely and practical manner

The requirements:

• At least 3 years' experience in Supervisor role
• A solid background within residential construction - good tenure is very important
• Relevant trade qualifications (Cert III in Carpentry and Cert IV in Building and Construction highly regarded)
• Previous experience managing multiple sites
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Must have a valid driver's license
