Job summary

NettCorp Pty Ltd in New South Wales is seeking a Site Supervisor to coordinate day-to-day on-site operations and work closely with the Owner/Project Manager. You will manage trades, subcontractors, and site labour, read plans, enforce WHS rules, and ensure quality through regular checks.

• Trade qualification is highly regarded.
• Ability to read and interpret building plans, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
• Thorough understanding of Safe Work methods and NSW safety regulations.
• Valid White Card, a current NSW Driver's Licence, and supervisor certifications.
• Proven track record of motivating crews and meeting timelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily site activities and coordinate on-site operations.
• Supervise, coordinate, and direct subcontractors and tradesmen. Assisting subcontractors in getting the job done.
• Implement quality checks to minimise defects
• Maintain professional, clear lines of communication with subcontractors, neighbours, suppliers and the client
• Site Preparation: Clearing debris, removing hazards, and building temporary structures like scaffolding or barricades.
• Material Handling: Loading and unloading, and taking delivery of building supplies.
• Equipment Operation: Utilising hand tools, power tools, and general construction activities.
• Site Maintenance: Cleaning the worksite at the end of each shift to ensure continuous compliance with safety regulations. Enforce Work Health & Safety (WHS) requirements and ensure site safety for all workers

Job description

As the Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of on-site operations. You will work closely with Owner/Project Manager to manage the construction on site, tradespeople and subcontractors, and site labour. You will be required to be a working foreman on the tools as well as a supervisory role.

Key responsibilities

Manage daily site activities and coordinate on-site operations.

Maintain professional, clear lines of communication with subcontractors, neighbours, suppliers and the client

About you

The Project

Construction of a luxury residential waterfront home. The owner/project manager will work closely with the site foreman through daily communication. The contract period (15 months) will be confirmed after the probation period.
