Site Supervisor – Residential Construction

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join a growing residential construction business in Brisbane.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of residential projects from site establishment through to completion, working closely with project management, trades, subcontractors and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

The role offers a strong level of autonomy while still providing the support of an experienced project team.

The Role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and coordination of residential construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, programme and budget requirements are met.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing day-to-day site operations across residential projects
• Coordinating subcontractors, trades and suppliers
• Monitoring construction progress against project programmes
• Ensuring works are completed to required quality standards
• Managing site safety and ensuring compliance with WHS requirements
• Conducting site meetings and coordinating project stakeholders
• Identifying and resolving construction issues as they arise
• Managing inspections, defects and project handover
• Working closely with Project Managers and internal stakeholders
• Maintaining accurate site documentation and reporting
• Building strong relationships with subcontractors and project partners

About You

We are looking for someone who brings strong residential construction experience and can confidently take ownership of a site.

You will ideally have:

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor within residential construction
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and sequencing
• Experience coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong understanding of Queensland construction and WHS requirements
• The ability to read and interpret plans and construction documentation
• A proactive approach to identifying and resolving site issues
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• A trade background or relevant construction qualification will be highly regarded
