Job summary

Kantershow Civil is seeking a Site Supervisor to lead crews across Tier 1 and Tier 2 civil sites in the Greater Sydney area. This hands-on role requires coordinating earthworks, drainage, and concrete works while ensuring safety, quality, and meeting program deadlines.

You will supervise subcontractors, plant operators, and suppliers, maintain strong client communication, and uphold our family-oriented culture. A casual six-month engagement with progression to permanent employment is offered.

Qualifications

• Proven civil construction experience across earthworks, drainage, and concrete.
• Current plant operating tickets for Posi-Track, Excavator, Roller.
• Experience supervising civil construction crews and coordinating with contractors.
• Strong communication with principals, clients and Tier 1 & Tier 2 contractors.
• Willingness to travel and work away when required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate construction crews, subcontractors, suppliers, plant and equipment.
• Operate Posi-Track, excavators, rollers, and related earthworks machinery.
• Lead from the front and delegate tasks to meet program deadlines.
• Liaise professionally with clients and Tier 1 & Tier 2 contractors.
• Oversee concrete works, drainage, ground prep, compaction, and material placement.
• Ensure strict compliance with site safety, quality and environmental requirements.

Kantershow Civil is a well-established civil construction company based in Prestons, delivering high-quality civil maintenance and infrastructure projects across the Greater Sydney Region. Our reputation is built on reliability, safety, and consistent performance across Tier 1 and Tier 2 construction environments.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Supervisor to join our expanding team.

The Role

Working across Tier 1 and Tier 2 construction sites, you will take responsibility for supervising crews and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

Key responsibilities include:

Supervision and coordination of construction crews, subcontractors, suppliers, plant, and equipment

Operating Posi-Track, excavators, rollers, and general earthworks equipment

Leading from the front and delegating tasks to meet program deadlines

Liaising professionally with clients and Tier 1 & Tier 2 contractors

Overseeing concrete works, pipe laying, ground preparation, compaction, and material placement

Ensuring strict compliance with site safety, quality, and environmental requirements

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who sets the standard on-site.

About You

To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate:

Proven experience in civil construction across earthworks, drainage, and concrete

Current and valid plant operating tickets/licences for relevant machinery (Posi-Track, Excavator, Roller and associated earthworks equipment)

Demonstrated experience supervising and leading civil construction crews

Strong communication skills with confidence liaising with principal contractors and clients

A proactive, solutions-focused approach to resolving on-site challenges

Competency across all aspects of civil construction works

Willingness to work away when required

Valid HR or HC truck licence (highly regarded but not essential)

What We Offer

$40–$55 per hour (dependent on experience)

Consistent daily work under a 6-month casual engagement
