Job summary

GrainCorp is seeking a capable supervisor to lead a team of grain handlers at our site. You will support the Site Manager and Area Manager in planning, resourcing receivables and out-loading of grain, including peak periods, while ensuring safe, efficient operations.

You will manage grain receivals and outloads, build strong relationships with growers and customers, and keep abreast of local priorities and issues. A driver’s license is required and a pre-employment medical check may be requested.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a team of grain handlers.
• Ability to plan, resource receivables and out-load during normal and peak periods.
• Must have a driver’s license and be prepared for a pre-employment medical check.

This role contributes by:

• Supervising a team of grain handlers ensuring the site runs safely and efficiently
• Assisting the Site Manager and Area Manager in planning, resourcing receivables and out-loading of grain during both normal and peak season periods
• Managing the grain receivals and outload in safe and efficient manner.
• Developing and maintaining business relationships, specifically with growers and customers; and maintain awareness of local priorities and issues.
• Developing & maintaining effective Grower group/s and dealing closely with internal and external customers
