Job summary

GrainCorp is seeking a Site Manager for our Euabalong West grain storage and distribution facility. You will lead Grain Handlers to ensure safe, efficient receival, storage, and outload of commodities, with a hands-on leadership style and strong connection to the local community.

Bring operational experience and a dedication to safety to help keep Australia's grain supply chain moving. This is a role that offers variety, autonomy, and a direct link to the land and community.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities of the team; coach and support development of team members.
• Get to know, understand and apply our enterprise agreement and people processes.
• Develop and maintain close relationships with local growers, customers, and the local community.
• Coordinate and prepare for area maintenance and pest control teams to deliver required services.
• Identify and report on maintenance requirements and maintain site presentation and standards.
• Manage programmes and initiatives related to safety ('zero harm' culture) and risk management.

In this role you will:

About your experience

You'll succeed in this role if you've had experience in plant operations (ideally the Grain industry) and:

• Experience supervising, supporting and developing workgroups / individuals
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours to meet operational demands
• Capacity to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Current unrestricted driver licence and basic IT literacy
