Auscoast Builders in Toowoomba region is seeking an experienced Supervisor to manage large-loss insurance roof replacement projects. The role is hybrid, combining site visits, work-from-home days, and travel to our Gold Coast office. You will own projects, coordinate trades, and maintain strong customer relationships to deliver safe, on-time, high-quality outcomes. Experience in roofing, building supervision, or insurance repairs is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• QBCC Supervisors License (or ability to obtain).
• Strong knowledge of building practices, roofing systems and repair/replacement processes.
• Proven experience coordinating multiple projects and managing teams or subcontractors.
• Solid understanding of HBCF regulations, building codes and WHS compliance requirements.
• Certificate IV in Building and Construction highly regarded.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• High standard of quality and attention to detail.
• Good computer literacy and comfort using technology to manage projects.
• Team-first attitude and willingness to contribute to business success.

Responsibilities

• Manage large loss insurance repairs, predominantly storm damage to metal roofs.

Auscoast Builders is a leading building company specialising in large-loss insurance roofing repairs, predominantly focusing on storm damage to metal roofs.

We work directly with homeowners, managing the repair process from contract through to completion, coordinating our network of trades and working directly with the customer to deliver a quality outcome.

We're seeking an experienced Supervisor to manage large-loss insurance roof replacement projects across the Toowoomba region, with the ability to travel throughout surrounding areas in QLD. This is a hybrid role, offering a mix of site visits, working from home, and visits to our Gold Coast office.

The Role

You won't be on the tools in this role. You'll take ownership of your jobs, coordinate trades, build strong customer relationships and ensure every project is delivered safely, on time and to a high standard. Your projects will predominantly involve metal roof replacements resulting from insurance claims, so experience in roofing, building supervision or insurance repairs will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing large loss insurance repairs, predominantly storm damage to metal roofs.
• Assess and report on property damage.
• Managing client relationships, including conflict resolution and providing a high level of customer service.
• Manage trades and ensure jobs are progressing smoothly and without delay.
• Manage time frames, quality control and workplace health safety.
• Customer Service, Safety, Technology and Quality are critical to the role. The right applicant will understand the importance of each and excel in all of them.
