Job summary

seek.com.au is seeking a hands-on Site Supervisor to join our growing team on the Gold Coast and South East Queensland. You’ll manage residential insurance repair projects, coordinate trades and keep jobs moving with autonomy and a company vehicle.

This off-tools supervisory role emphasizes practical building knowledge, strong organisation, and customer service. You’ll inspect sites, review scopes, monitor progress and ensure WHS compliance across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Supervisor or similar construction role.
• Strong building and/or roofing knowledge.
• Experience coordinating trades and managing multiple projects.
• Good organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Confident communication and customer service.

Job description

Looking for your next move as a Site Supervisor?

We're looking for experienced construction professionals to join a growing business managing residential insurance repair projects across the Gold Coast and South East Queensland.

This is an off-tools supervisory role with a company vehicle, performance incentives and manageable project allocations. You'll coordinate trades, manage your own portfolio of projects and have the autonomy to keep jobs moving and deliver quality outcomes.

Experience in residential construction, roofing, building repairs or insurance works is highly regarded. You don't need to come directly from insurance building - strong construction knowledge and supervisory experience are what matter most.

The Role

You'll be responsible for managing projects from initial assessment through to completion, including:

• Conducting site inspections and assessing repair requirements
• Coordinating trades, subcontractors and scheduling
• Reviewing scopes and monitoring project progress

• Overseeing project timeframes, quality and safety
• Identifying issues and finding practical solutions
• Maintaining accurate project records and updates
• Ensuring works meet relevant building and WHS requirements

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is practical, organised and confident taking responsibility for getting jobs completed.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Previous Site Supervisor or similar construction experience
• Strong practical building and/or roofing knowledge
• Experience coordinating trades and managing multiple projects
• Strong organisation and problem solving skills
• Confident communication and customer service skills
• Good understanding of WHS and quality requirements
• Confidence using technology and job management systems
• Current driver's licence

Highly regarded, but not essential: QBCC Supervisor Licence, relevant trade qualification, Certificate IV in Building & Construction, roofing experience or insurance building experience.
