UpBuild Constructions | Central Coast/ Hunter Regions, NSW | Full-time
About UpBuild Constructions

At UpBuild Constructions, we’re committed to delivering A Higher Standard of Construction.

For over a decade, Upbuild Constructions has served as a critical infrastructure partner for the growth of Regional NSW. As one of the Central Coast, Newcastle and Hunter Region's most trusted commercial construction companies, we deliver complex government, education, health, commercial and hospitality projects where quality, governance and operational excellence are non-negotiable.

Our reputation has been built on delivering technically complex projects within live environments while maintaining exceptional standards of safety, compliance, workmanship and stakeholder engagement. From schools and health facilities to community and commercial assets, our clients trust us because we consistently deliver with professionalism, integrity and precision.

Backed by ISO-certified Integrated Management Systems, governance is embedded in the way we lead projects, manage risk, communicate with clients and continuously improve our business. These proven systems provide the framework that ensures every project is delivered safely, consistently and to the highest standard.

We’re entering an exciting stage of growth and we're looking for an exceptional Site Supervisor who shares our commitment to excellence and wants to help shape the next chapter of our success.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the [Project Manager?], you'll take ownership of the successful delivery of commercial construction projects from site establishment through to practical completion. You'll lead site operations with professionalism, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the exceptionally high standards our clients have come to expect. This is a leadership role for someone who values structure, accountability and disciplined project delivery as much as craftsmanship and construction knowledge. You'll be empowered to make decisions, solve problems proactively and contribute to the continual improvement of our systems, people and project outcomes.

About You

You're an experienced Site Supervisor who understands that great projects are built through leadership, planning and attention to detail. You hold yourself to high professional standards and take genuine pride in delivering exceptional projects.

You are someone who:

  • Leads with integrity and earns the respect of your team through professionalism and consistency.
  • Is passionate about quality workmanship and believes excellence is found in the smallest details.
  • Is highly organised, process-driven and accountable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Has exceptional problem-solving skills and remains calm, practical and solutions-focused under pressure.
  • Is an effective people leader who manages teams with patience, respect and fairness while holding others accountable to high standards.
  • Builds strong, collaborative relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers through clear and professional communication.
  • Has excellent computer literacy, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, email communication, project management systems and digital site documentation.
  • Understands the importance of accurate reporting, documentation and programme management.
  • Takes ownership, follows through on commitments and leads from the front.
  • Has an uncompromising commitment to and respect for Work Health & Safety, actively promoting a positive safety culture where every person goes home safe.
  • Understands that every decision made on site impacts the client experience and takes pride in delivering projects that exceed expectations.
Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:

  • Proven experience as a Site Supervisor delivering commercial, government or institutional construction projects.
  • Strong leadership skills with demonstrated experience managing subcontractors, site teams and multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple work fronts simultaneously.
  • High-level problem-solving and decision-making capability, with the confidence to proactively resolve issues before they impact programme, budget or quality.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, email management, digital reporting platforms and construction management software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with clients, consultants and project teams.
  • A sound understanding of WHS legislation, quality assurance processes, environmental compliance and risk management.
  • Experience working in live operational environments such as schools, healthcare facilities or commercial sites will be highly regarded.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, programmes and contract documentation.
  • Current White Card, driver's licence and relevant trade qualification.
Why Join UpBuild Constructions?

You'll join a business with genuine momentum, one that's investing in its people, systems and long-term growth. We offer:

  • Competitive salary based on experience and vehicle expectations.
  • Diverse commercial, government and community projects.
  • Long-term career progression with a growing and respected regional contractor.
  • A fun, supportive and collaborative leadership team that values initiative.
  • The opportunity to influence how projects are delivered, not just supervise.
  • A culture built on Integrity, Quality, Accountability, Honesty and Excellence.
  • The chance to work alongside a team who genuinely care about delivering exceptional client outcomes.
