MyBuild Commercial is seeking a capable Leading Hand / Site Supervisor for commercial projects in North Queensland. You will lead on-site operations, coordinate trades, and ensure safety and quality across sites.

Reporting to the Project Manager and Construction Director, you will supervise subcontractors, review drawings, manage site records, and drive on-time delivery with a hands-on leadership style. This role offers a fast-track path to site leadership within a growing regional business,

Formación

• Lead carpenter aiming to progress to site leadership.

About You

• An experienced lead carpenter looking for the next step to lead the site

• A hands-on site leader who takes pride in workmanship and enjoys building strong relationships with your team and stakeholders.

• Previous experience on commercial construction projects

• Looking for fast growth in commercial site supervising and team leadership

• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and quality finishes

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and site teams

• Thorough knowledge of WHS legislation and site safety practices

• Current Construction White Card

• Current Driver Licence

• Trade qualification in Carpentry or related field

• QBCC Site Supervisor Licence (preferred)

• Certificate IV or Diploma in Building and Construction (preferred)

The Role

Reporting to the Project Manager and Construction Director, you will be responsible for the successful day-to-day supervision of commercial construction sites, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.
