Job summary

Kingston Building Pty Ltd is seeking a Site Supervisor for immediate start to oversee small- and large-scale commercial, residential, education, retail, and industrial projects in Newcastle and surrounding regions.

The role is available as full-time employment or a contract using your ABN, with work spread across the Hunter Valley, Central Coast and Mid-North Coast regions as projects dictate.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years Site Management experience on commercial projects.
• Trade background preferred.
• Excellent understanding of Australian Standards.
• Experience with Sign-On-Site and Sage Construction Management platforms is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Managing Subcontractors, suppliers, and Company labour.
• Conducting routine site inspections ensuring Company standards are met.
• Developing and monitoring the programme ensuring key milestones in relation to Time, Cost, Safety and Quality are being achieved on site.
• Ensuring compliance to Kingston’s systems which are accredited to Federal Safety requirements.
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
• Managing the site construction activities to achieve the most productive use of available materials and construction resources (internal and external).
• Maintaining overall quality assurance whilst ensuring building compliance to the D & BP Act and NCC.
• Maintaining and monitor all environmental site-specific issues.
• Notify the Project Manager of any issues likely to have a substantial impact on operations.
• Maintaining professional relationships with relevant authorities, delegates, and consultants.
• Ensuring all standards of construction are monitored and maintained.

Are you an experienced Site Manager looking for a position with a reputable, award-winning building company?

Kingston Building, the 2025 Commercial Builder of the Year, is a multi-award-winning builder and a leader within the industry. Due to a large influx of work, a position has become available for a full-time experienced Site Supervisor to deliver small- and large-scale commercial, residential, education, retail, and industrial projects valued between$50k-$10M.

The position is available for an immediate start as either full-time employment or a contract utilising your own ABN.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing Subcontractors, suppliers, and Company labour.
• Conducting routine site inspections ensuring Company standards are met.
• Developing and monitoring the programme ensuring key milestones in relation to Time, Cost, Safety and Quality are being achieved on site.

The Site Manager must have OR are willing to complete the following prior to commencing:

• First aid certificate
• General Construction Induction Card

The position is based in Newcastle; however, depending on future projects it may require rural placements and/or travel within the Hunter Valley, Central Coast and Mid-North Coast regions.
