Job summary

Kingston Building Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead delivery of commercial, residential, education, retail and industrial projects from Newcastle region. The role offers either full-time employment or a contract using your ABN.

You will coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and internal labour, ensuring program milestones, safety standards and quality are met across diverse sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years Site Management experience on commercial projects.
• Trade background preferred.
• Excellent understanding of Australian Standards.
• Experience with Sign-On-Site and Sage Construction Management platforms is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and Company labour.
• Conduct routine site inspections ensuring Kingston standards are met.
• Developing and monitoring the programme ensuring Time, Cost, Safety and Quality milestones are achieved on site.
• Ensure compliance to Kingston's systems accredited to Federal Safety requirements.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Oversee site construction activities to maximise productive use of materials and resources.
• Maintain quality assurance and ensure building compliance to the D & BP Act and NCC.
• Monitor environmental site-specific issues.
• Notify the Project Manager of issues likely to impact operations.
• Maintain professional relationships with authorities, delegates, and consultants.

Are you an experienced Site Manager looking for a position with a reputable, award-winning building company? Look no further!

Kingston Building, the 2025 Commercial Builder of the Year, is a multi-award-winning builder and a leader within the industry. Due to a large influx of work, a position has become available for a full-time experienced Site Supervisor to deliver small- and large-scale commercial, residential, education, retail, and industrial projects valued between $50k-$10M.

The position is available for an immediate start as either full-time employment or a contract utilising your own ABN.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing Subcontractors, suppliers, and Company labour.
• Conducting routine site inspections ensuring Company standards are met.
• Developing and monitoring the programme ensuring key milestones in relation to Time, Cost, Safety and Quality are being achieved on site.
• Ensuring compliance to Kingston's systems which are accredited to Federal Safety requirements.
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
• Managing the site construction activities to achieve the most productive use of available materials and construction resources (internal and external).
• Maintaining overall quality assurance whilst ensuring building compliance to the D & BP Act and NCC.
• Maintaining and monitor all environmental site-specific issues.
• Notify the Project Manager of any issues likely to have a substantial impact on operations.
• Maintaining professional relationships with relevant authorities, delegates, and consultants.
• Ensuring all standards of construction are monitored and maintained.

To excel in this role, you will ideally have:

• Minimum of 5 years Site Management experience on commercial projects.
• Trade background preferred.
• Excellent understanding of Australian Standards.
• Experience with Sign-On-Site and Sage Construction Management platforms is advantageous.

The Site Manager must have OR are willing to complete the following prior to commencing:

• First aid certificate
• General Construction Induction Card

The position is based in Newcastle; however, depending on future projects it may require rural placements and/or travel within the Hunter Valley, Central Coast and Mid-North Coast regions.
