Job summary

John Holland is seeking a Supervisor for the Logan Hospital Expansion Stage 2 project. You will lead a services workforce of around 300 on site, coordinating daily activities to meet safety, quality and programme milestones.

Initially, oversee installation of building services, subcontractor management, sequencing and interface coordination; later transition to commissioning, testing, handover and delivery of milestones.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising services works on health or similar construction projects.
• Able to read and interpret drawings and design documentation.
• Experience leading subcontractors, suppliers and site crews.
• Knowledge of safety, quality and construction compliance requirements.
• Must hold White Card and relevant construction qualifications.

• Plan and manage daily, weekly and short-term construction activities.

• Review drawings, designs and project documentation to support delivery.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks while promoting proactive risk management.
• Develop and lead site personnel, manage subcontractor performance and ensure compliance.

About The Role:

As our Supervisor on the Logan Hospital Expansion Stage 2 Project, you will lead and oversee a services workforce of approximately 300 personnel on site. You will be responsible for coordinating daily site activities to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements. Initially, you will oversee the installation of building services, including subcontractor management, work sequencing, and interface coordination. As the project progresses, you will transition into the commissioning phase, ensuring successful testing, handover, and delivery of key project milestones. Working closely with project teams and stakeholders, you will play a critical role in maintaining productivity, resolving site challenges, and driving the safe and successful delivery of this landmark healthcare project.

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience supervising services works on a Health or similar construction projects ($300mill up)
• Strong understanding of construction methods and site operations.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and design documentation.
• Experience leading subcontractors, suppliers, and site crews.
• Sound knowledge of safety, quality, and construction compliance requirements.
• Strong planning, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to drive productivity and meet programme milestones.
• Relevant construction qualification and White Card.
