Job summary

John Holland Pty Ltd is delivering Stage One of the $2.5 billion Waterfront Brisbane project, a 49-storey commercial tower with public spaces. As Night Shift Supervisor you will lead and coordinate a workforce of ~30 across the 3:00pm–1:00am shift, ensuring safe, efficient progress on structural works and early fit-out.

• Previous experience supervising structural works on major construction projects ($300m+).
• Strong understanding of construction methods and site operations.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and design documentation.
• Experience leading subcontractors, suppliers, and site crews.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and construction compliance requirements.
• Strong planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to drive productivity and meet programme milestones.
• Relevant construction qualification and White Card.

• Develop and lead site personnel, manage subcontractor performance, and ensure compliance with contractual, industrial, and company requirements.

About The Role:

As our Night Shift Supervisor on the Waterfront Project, you will be leading and supporting a workforce of approximately 30 personnel across the 3:00pm to 1:00am shift. You will be responsible for coordinating daily site activities to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements.Initially overseeing structural works, steel installation, subcontractor coordination and work sequencing, before transitioning into the fit-out phase of the project. The role works closely with project teams and site stakeholders to maintain productivity, address on-site challenges, and support the successful delivery of key project milestones.
