Job summary

Construkt is seeking a Site Supervisor (or an experienced carpenter ready to move into site leadership) for custom homes and high-end renovations in Adelaide. You will work directly with the business owner, coordinate trades, drive the program and maintain quality while staying hands-on when required.

Ideal candidates are trade-qualified in carpentry, with at least 3 years of construction experience and some supervisory exposure.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified in carpentry with at least 3 years' relevant construction experience.
• Previous supervisory experience valued but not required.
• Experience with custom homes, architectural residential construction and/or high-end renovations will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

Site Supervisor - Custom Homes & High-End Renovations

$90,000 - $120,000 + super + vehicle | Hands-on role | Genuine career progression

Construkt is an established, owner-operated Adelaide builder specialising in quality custom homes and high-end renovations.

We're looking for a Site Supervisor - or an experienced carpenter ready to take the next step into site leadership - to become an important part of our small, highly regarded team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants more responsibility, autonomy and exposure to the whole building process than they may get working for a larger builder.

You'll work directly with the business owner, be trusted to take ownership of your projects and, as you demonstrate your capability, have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility and leadership within the business.

Importantly, this is a hands-on supervisory role. We're not looking for someone who wants to manage sites entirely from their phone or vehicle. You'll coordinate trades, drive the program and maintain quality - but you'll also be comfortable picking up the tools and helping out when that's what the job needs.

What you'll be responsible for

You'll take increasing ownership of the day-to-day delivery of custom residential builds and renovations, including:

Coordinating trades, subcontractors, suppliers and day-to-day site activities

Planning ahead, sequencing works and making sure the right people and materials are on site when required

Keeping projects moving efficiently and proactively addressing issues before they become problems

Maintaining exceptional standards of workmanship, finish and attention to detail

Monitoring site safety, presentation and quality

Building strong, respectful relationships with trades, suppliers and clients

Communicating closely with the owner on progress, priorities and any issues requiring attention

Taking ownership of problems and following them through to resolution

Assisting on the tools when required - we're a small team and everyone is prepared to pitch in

About you

You'll ideally be trade-qualified in carpentry with at least 3 years' relevant construction experience.

Previous supervisory experience is certainly valued, but you don't necessarily need to already have "Site Supervisor" on your CV.

If you're an excellent carpenter who is already the person others rely on, naturally takes the lead on site, thinks ahead and is ready for greater responsibility, we'd particularly like to hear from you.

Experience with custom homes, architectural residential construction and/or high-end renovations will be highly regarded.
