Job summary

Empower Management is seeking a Site Safety Administrator / Junior Safety Advisor to join a Queensland civil contractor delivering SEQ road and transport infrastructure projects. The role combines hands-on safety work with site operations and administration, offering growth into a Safety Advisor role.

You will work with experienced professionals, support safety systems, and help project teams deliver work safely across multiple sites in SEQ.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in civil construction safety or project safety administration.
• Experience on civil road construction projects is highly regarded.
• Practical knowledge of WHS legislation and safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Support daily WHS activities across civil construction projects.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and safety compliance checks.
• Assist with incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions.
• Coordinate inductions, pre-start meetings and toolbox talks.
• Maintain WHS documentation and project safety records.
• Assist with environmental compliance and project reporting.
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors and project managers to promote safe working practices.
