Job summary

Fulton Hogan is seeking an experienced Senior Safety Advisor for South-East Queensland, based in Eight Mile Plains. You will drive a strong safety culture by aligning with the Living Safely ethos and ensuring WHS compliance across civil projects.

Responsibilities include site inspections, risk assessments, safety audits, and risk management across mobile plant, excavations, and site interfaces. A Health and Safety qualification and solid experience in project teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Health and Safety with WHS knowledge and practical risk management experience.
• Experience supporting project teams with risk management, SWMS, site assurance and investigations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical safety advice across multiple civil projects.
• Maintain site presence and build relationships with project teams.
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and safety assurance activities.
• Participate in safety audits and incident investigations.
• Support tender reviews from a safety perspective and mobilisation.
• Advise on construction risks including mobile plant, excavations, and traffic interfaces.
