Job summary

Glencore in Rolleston (Queensland) is seeking an experienced Compliance and Assurance Coordinator on a fixed-term basis. You will work within the Health and Safety team, coordinating site audits, verifying incident investigations, and analyzing safety performance data to improve outcomes on the Rolleston Open Cut operation.

The role requires high computer literacy, familiarity with safety management systems, and the ability to operate under pressure in a dynamic mining environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in health and safety auditing or compliance roles.
• Ability to work under pressure and in ambiguous environments.
• Strong safety culture and proactive attitude.
• Familiarity with Rolleston Safety and Health Management System.
• High level computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and participate in site audits including GCAA mandated assessments.
• Verify site incident investigations and risk assessments.
• Analyse and report safety performance data.
• Coordinate regular meetings to review health and safety performance against the annual plan.
• Assist operational areas with critical control audits per the schedule.
• Coordinate and facilitate risk assessments and bowtie risk assessments.
• Educate workers on the Rolleston Safety and Health Management System and programs.
• Maintain document control and records; ensure regulatory procedures are followed.
