Job summary
Glencore is seeking a Health, Safety & Training professional for its Hail Creek operation in Queensland. You will coordinate health promotions, oversee the Occupational Health Monitoring Program, Injury Management and Return to Work processes, and the Coal Mine Workers Health Scheme for employees and contractors.
The role requires a relevant allied health degree with APHRA/ESSA registration, a current driver's licence, and a Rehab/RTW certificate.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in allied health or equivalent with APHRA/ESSA or similar registration.
- Drivers licence required.
- Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator Certificate.
- Core units of competency as required by coal mine workers.
- Knowledge of Queensland coal mining health and safety legislation.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate health promotions across the operation.
- Oversee the Occupational Health Monitoring Program and Return to Work processes.
- Manage Rehabilitation/RTW and Coal Mine Workers Health Scheme for employees and contractors.
- Maintain meticulous records to meet statutory and corporate obligations.
- Develop strong working relationships and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
