Job summary

Glencore Australia’s MRM mine site is seeking an Advisor - Compliance, Reporting and Assurance to manage the site’s compliance register and coordinate regulatory reporting to meet project approvals. You will verify data, support governance processes, and help coordinate Independent Expert Panels and Monitor activities.

The role requires tertiary qualifications in environmental fields and experience in regulatory reporting, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental compliance or regulatory reporting.
• Experience with approvals governance or assurance.
• Ability to engage with internal stakeholders, government agencies, auditors and specialists.

Responsibilities

• Promote SafeWork protocols and processes to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain the site compliance register to support regulatory and project approvals.
• Coordinate and review government and corporate reporting, including data verifications.
• Maintain approvals governance processes and provide guidance on environmental approvals.
• Coordinate Independent Expert Panels and Independent Monitor processes with stakeholders and auditors.
• Prepare and review high-quality compliance documentation.
• Participate in audits against compliance and assurance requirements.
• Undertake environmental inspections and drive continuous improvement actions.
