Job summary

Technical Resources seeks an experienced Electrical Owner's Site Representative to lead electrical delivery on a major wind farm project near Burra, South Australia. You will work closely with contractors, engineering specialists and the project team across construction, testing, energisation and commissioning.

You will oversee HV, MV and LV systems, protection and control, SCADA and telecoms, plus testing and commissioning with a strong emphasis on safety, quality and stakeholder coordination.

Qualifications

• Requires strong electrical engineering background and site experience.
• Hands-on capability across HV/MV/LV, testing, energisation and commissioning.
• Positive safety and quality compliance on large-scale infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical oversight of electrical delivery across construction, testing, energisation and commissioning.
• Serve as the on-site point of contact for multiple contractors and disciplines to ensure safe, correct delivery to standards.
• Lead electrical quality, interface management and coordination with the project team.

Job description

This is an opportunity for an experienced Electrical Owner's Site Representative to step into a key site-based role on a major wind farm development near Burra, South Australia.
You'll be right across the electrical delivery of the project, working closely with contractors, engineering specialists and the wider project team across construction, testing, energisation and commissioning.
It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to the work, solving problems on site and taking ownership of electrical quality and delivery on a large-scale infrastructure project.

The Opportunity

You'll provide hands-on technical oversight across a broad range of electrical infrastructure, including:

• HV, MV and LV electrical systems
• Substation and transmission electrical infrastructure
• Protection and control systems
• SCADA, telecommunications and communications systems
• Wind turbine electrical systems
• Cables, joints, fibre networks and earthing
• Testing, energisation and commissioning activities
• Electrical quality, compliance and interface management

You'll be a key point of contact on site, helping ensure electrical works are delivered safely, correctly and to the required standard while working across multiple contractors and technical disciplines.

About You

We're looking for someone with a strong electrical engineering background who is confident working independently in a site environment.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Strong experience across HV, MV and LV systems
• Experience with protection and control, SCADA and telecommunications
• Exposure to major electrical infrastructure
• Strong testing, energisation and commissioning capability
• A proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical and quality issues
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
• A genuine commitment to safety and quality
• Australian driver licence
• Construction White Card
