Job summary

Downer is seeking a Site Project Manager to lead multiple construction and refurbishment projects under a Government and Integrated Facilities Management contract. You will report to the Regional Projects Manager and coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

You will oversee design to close-out activities, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, manage budgets and claims, and maintain strong stakeholder communications across diverse projects.

Qualifications

• A qualification in Construction Management, Property Development or Architecture, or an equivalent trade qualification.
• Extensive experience within the construction and development industry.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects across time, cost, quality and safety requirements.
• Knowledge of building contracts, design standards, Building Codes, legislation, WHS and regulatory compliance.
• Strong stakeholder management, written communication, verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of SAP, InEight or Primavera P6 would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects across design, tender, construction, handover and close-out.
• Monitor project programs, budgets, cash flow, risks and contractual obligations.
• Work collaboratively with clients, contractors, consultants and internal project teams.
• Conduct site inspections and oversee safety, quality, compliance and project progress.
• Manage variations, progress claims, reporting and stakeholder communications.
