Job summary

MMD Recruitment is seeking experienced Site Engineers and Project Engineers to join a leading delivery team on major renewable energy projects around Adelaide. These are 6-month contracts with strong extension potential, offering a daily rate of AUD 600–700 + GST.

You will work with construction teams, subcontractors and project management to keep work safe, on schedule and of high quality, reading drawings, managing QA, ITPs, RFIs and close-out documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
• Experience as Site or Project Engineer on civil, infrastructure or energy projects.
• Renewable energy project experience is highly valued.
• Knowledge of QA, HSE and project controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate day-to-day site activities and subcontractors.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Handle ITPs, hold points, as-builts and close-out documentation.
• Support programming, progress reporting and cost tracking.
• Manage RFIs, variations and technical queries.
• Lead and promote a strong safety culture on site.
• Work with clients, designers and stakeholders to solve problems as they come up.

Site Engineers & Project Engineers | Renewable Energy Projects | Adelaide, SA

Contract: 6 months minimum | $600 - $700 per day + GST | Site vehicle included

We're looking for experienced Site Engineers and Project Engineers to join a leading delivery team on major renewable energy projects in and around Adelaide. These are long-term contracts with strong potential to extend as the project pipeline grows.

About the role

You'll help deliver large-scale renewable infrastructure, working closely with construction teams, subcontractors and project management to keep work safe, on schedule and to a high quality standard.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate day-to-day site activities and subcontractors
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications and technical documentation
• Handle setout, quality assurance (ITPs, hold points, as-builts) and close-out documentation
• Support programming, progress reporting and cost tracking
• Manage RFIs, variations and technical queries
• Lead and promote a strong safety culture on site
• Work with clients, designers and stakeholders to solve problems as they come up

About you

• Degree in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
• Experience as a Site or Project Engineer on civil, infrastructure or energy projects
• Renewable energy experience (solar, wind, BESS or transmission) is highly regarded
• Good understanding of QA, HSE and project controls
• Clear communicator who can work across teams
• Current driver's licence and White Card
