Job summary

Amida Recruit AU is seeking a Site Engineer or Project Engineer to join a major NSW civil infrastructure project. The role is site-based in Mudgee or DIDO from Sydney/Newcastle, with travel allowance and accommodation provided.

You will coordinate roads, utilities, drainage and earthworks, manage stakeholders, and ensure compliance with project standards and contractual obligations. The ideal candidate will have 3–5+ years in civil infrastructure, a relevant engineering degree, strong

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 to 5+ years’ experience.
• Experience coordinating civil projects and managing multiple priorities.
• Experience with roads, utilities, drainage, earthworks and civils works is ideal.
• Must have a driving license.

Responsibilities

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 to 5+ years’ experience.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with contractors, regulators, and internal teams.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with documentation, reporting, and contract management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex issues and develop practical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proven influencing and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Project.
• Must have a driving license.
