Job summary

Amida Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Engineer or Project Engineer for a well-established civil contractor. You will contribute to delivering a range of projects from smaller works to complex civil packages across Newcastle, Muswellbrook, and surrounding NSW regions.

Responsibilities include tender involvement, planning and scheduling, leading site teams safely, QA and cost/time control, reporting, client liaison, and coordinating internal and external resources.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering is required.
• 5–10+ years of management experience on civil construction projects valued from $2M to $40M+.
• Project management qualifications are advantageous and beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Tender involvement and preparation.
• Planning and scheduling of construction activities.
• Management of site project teams with safety at the core.
• Quality Assurance, cost and time management.
• Preparation of management reports and stakeholder liaison.
• Coordinate internal and external resources and resolve site issues.
