Job summary

Visy Group on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced A Grade Electrician stepping into planning and coordination. In this hands-on role you’ll plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance, coordinate shutdowns and site projects, and manage work orders and parts inventory to keep the plant running smoothly.

You will bring a current Queensland Electrical License, Manufacturing/industrial experience, and strong relationship-building and problem-solving skills to drive reliability

Qualifications

• Current Queensland Electrical License is required.
• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG or industrial environments is preferred.
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and suppliers.

About the opportunity:

We're looking for an experienced A Grade Electrician who is ready to take the next step into planning and coordination. You'll play a key role in keeping our manufacturing site running smoothly by planning and coordinating maintenance, supporting shutdowns, and helping drive reliability improvements across the plant.

• Shift Details: Fixed day shift Monday to Friday (6am to 2pm)

What you'll do:

• Plan and schedule preventative and corrective maintenance activities
• Coordinate maintenance shutdowns and site projects
• Manage maintenance work orders and planning systems
• Source and purchase parts, consumables and critical spares
• Maintain equipment records, maintenance documentation and spare parts inventory
• Support compliance, safety and continuous improvement initiatives across the site

What You Will Bring:

• Current Queensland Electrical License
• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG or industrial environment
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and suppliers
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
