Job summary

Visy Group in Australia is seeking a Shift Electrician to support plant reliability, equipment performance and continuous improvement initiatives for safe, efficient production. The role involves breakdown, preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting electrical/instrumentation/control systems and maintaining PLC-controlled equipment.

You'll collaborate with production teams to minimise downtime, join a high-tech facility, with training on PLC fault finding and a 12-hour rotating

Qualifications

• A-Grade Electrical License required.
• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, packaging or industrial environments.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Proactive and safety-first approach to maintenance.

Responsibilities

About the Opportunity

As a Shift Electrician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring plant reliability, equipment performance, and continuous improvement initiatives that support safe and efficient production.

• Rotating Shift Pattern (12hr)
• Training provided on PLC fault finding

• Perform breakdown, preventative and predictive maintenance activities
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, instrumentation and control systems
• Maintain PLC-controlled production and packaging equipment
• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives

What you will bring:
