Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an experienced Site Operations Manager to oversee the Life Sciences and Healthcare site in Horsley/Park. You will lead the operations team, manage warehouse activities, and drive performance while upholding safety and compliance standards.

The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced 3PL environment. A clear focus on cost control and customer service is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in operations management within the 3PL logistics or supply chain industry.
• Leadership and team management skills including the ability to engage, motivate and develop your team.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional outlook.
• Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems and MS Office.
• Tertiary qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the operations team to foster teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Oversee warehouse operations to ensure timely and accurate results in line with SLA’s.
• Analyze operational performance and implement strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Ensure site compliance with safety, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage resources and logistics to optimise costs, improve service levels, and exceed customer expectations.
• Provide training, support, and development opportunities for team members including talent identification and succession planning.
