DHL Supply Chain is seeking an experienced Site Operations Manager to lead daily operations at our Life Sciences and Healthcare site in Horsley/Park. You will oversee the operations team, drive performance, and ensure service delivery meets customer SLAs while maintaining high safety standards.

Responsibilities include managing resources, optimising costs, and driving continuous improvement, with a focus on training and development to identify talent and succession plans.

Qualifications

• Leadership and team management experience in a logistics or 3PL setting.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and MS Office tools.

Opportunity to lead our world-class operations

We are seeking an experienced Site Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations at our Life Sciences and Healthcare site in Horsley/ Park. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient and effective management of all operational activities, driving performance, and maintaining high standards of service delivery for our valued customers. A dynamic role, where everyday is different, your duties will include:

• Leading and managing the operations team, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Oversee warehouse operations to ensure timely and accurate results in line with SLA’s.
• Analysis of operational performance, implementing strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Ensuring site compliance with all safety, security, and regulatory requirements and driving a culture of compliance and safety.
• Managing resources and logistics to optimise operational costs, improve service levels, and exceed customer expectations.
• Provide training, support, and development opportunities for team members including identification of talent and succession planning.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional outlook.
• Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems and MS Office.
• Tertiary qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field will be highly regarded.
