Job summary

Bluestonerecruitment is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a centrally located high-rise residential project in Sydney. You will lead on-site activities, manage subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery.

We are looking for a proven leader with multi-project experience on large scale $100m+ projects, strong stakeholder relations, and a track record of delivering safe, compliant, high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site construction activities to meet milestones and stakeholder expectations.

• Conduct site walks, safety meetings and progress reviews.
• Foster accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and client representatives.
• Support buildability reviews and contribute to design and quality outcomes.

It's a fun and enjoyable place to work and due to recent project wins are looking to bring on an experienced Site Manager who wants a long term career with a business. They are looking for someone with solid high rise experience to work on a centrally located project. You will be responsible for ensuring that this project is completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards, while leading teams, managing subcontractors, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. This will include:

• Overseeing all on-site construction activities to meet project milestones and stakeholder expectations.
• Leading by example in health, safety, environment, and quality management.
• Collaborating with project leaders to develop construction management and workplace relations plans.
• Managing subcontractor performance, labour resources, and site logistics.
• Conducting regular site walks, safety meetings, and progress reviews.
• Fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Building and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives.
• Supporting buildability reviews and contribute to achieving design and quality outcomes.
• Ensuring compliance with company standards, HSE legislation, and project specifications.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within the high rise residential construction sector, having proven experience on large scale $100 mil + projects
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to lead and engage diverse teams.
• Solid understanding of subcontractor markets and construction methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver complex projects safely, on schedule, and to specification.
• Good tenure at previous businesses
• A strong relationship with subcontractors
