Job summary

Adecco is seeking an experienced Site Manager to deliver a substantial Class 2 residential project in Sydney. You will own day-to-day site operations, coordinate trades and ensure on-time, safe delivery.

You must have at least 5 years in Australia, proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors, maintain QA and progress reporting. This is a long-term opportunity with a professional team.

About the Role

As Site Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and to a high standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing all day-to-day site activities and construction operations
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel
• Managing programme, sequencing and site logistics
• Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with plans, specifications and relevant standards
• Maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety and compliance
• Conducting site meetings and coordinating trades
• Monitoring project progress and reporting to the Project Manager
• Managing site documentation, inspections and QA processes
• Identifying and resolving construction issues as they arise
• Maintaining strong relationships with consultants, subcontractors and stakeholders
• Ensuring the project remains on programme and within agreed project requirements

About You

We are looking for a Site Manager with:

• Minimum 5 years' construction experience in Australia
• Proven experience working on decent-sized projects, ideally with project values of $30M+
• A strong understanding of Australian construction practices, standards and regulations
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trades
• Strong programming, coordination and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A hands-on approach with the ability to take ownership of a site
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and programme delivery
