Job summary

Capstone Recruitment Group Pty Ltd in Melbourne is seeking a Senior Site Manager to lead delivery of a $55M aged care development from ground up. The seven-level project will operate with a tower crane on site, requiring strong leadership and technical on-site management.

You will coordinate subcontractors, programming, safety, and quality across an occupied site, working closely with the Project Manager to keep the program on track and handover on time.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager on large-scale, complex builds.
• Aged care, health, or high-rise sector experience preferred.
• Tower crane and high-rise construction experience essential.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management over long-duration builds.
• Available to commit through to practical completion.

About the Company

Our client is a well-regarded construction business with a strong track record delivering complex builds across Melbourne. Due to a recently awarded $55M aged care project with a repeat client, they are now seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead delivery through to completion.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to deliver a major, technically engaging project from the ground up. The build is a 150-bed aged care facility, seven levels, delivered with a tower crane on site. The project is about to commence, giving you the chance to shape the build from an early stage through to handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all on site construction activities across a 7 level, $55M aged care development
• Oversee subcontractor coordination, programming and quality control from early works through to completion
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, compliance and site standards across a complex, occupied-sector build
• Work closely with the Project Manager and broader project team to keep the program on track
• Manage tower crane logistics and sequencing across a constrained inner-city site

About You

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager on projects of comparable scale and complexity
• Aged care, health, or other highly relevant sector experience highly regarded
• Tower crane and high-rise structural experience essential
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage subcontractors and stakeholders across a long duration build
• Available to commit to the project through to practical completion
