Job summary

The Opportunity

ROUSSOS Recruitment is partnering with an established South Australian developer-builder to appoint an experienced Site Manager for a mixed-use, multi-storey development in Prospect.

With a proven track record across the Adelaide market, the business delivers a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential projects valued up to $40M. Its integrated development and construction model provides the opportunity to work closely with the broader project team, with a focus on quality delivery, collaboration and strong project outcomes.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of site operations on a $30M-$35M development, working alongside an established team within a business with a solid pipeline of work and long-term opportunities ahead.

The Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day site delivery of the Prospect development, taking responsibility for construction programme, subcontractor coordination, safety, quality and site performance from commencement through to completion.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and coordinating all on-site construction activities across a multi-storey development
• Managing subcontractors, trades and suppliers to maintain productivity and performance
• Driving construction programmes, sequencing and key project milestones
• Overseeing site logistics, resource allocation and short-term planning
• Maintaining high standards of WHS, quality assurance and compliance
• Coordinating site meetings, inspections and subcontractor activities
• Working collaboratively with the Project Manager and broader construction team
• Liaising with consultants, clients and key project stakeholders
• Identifying construction risks and resolving site issues proactively
• Overseeing defects, commissioning and the successful handover of the project

The Like Mind

You are an experienced Site Manager with a background in commercial or multi-storey construction. Confident leading subcontractors and coordinating complex site activities, you take ownership of programme, safety and quality while maintaining a proactive, solutions-focused approach.

You will ideally bring:

• Proven Site Management experience within commercial, residential or mixed-use construction
• Experience delivering multi-storey projects of comparable scale and complexity
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing and programming
• Confidence leading subcontractors, trades and site activities
• A relevant trade background, ideally in Carpentry
• A strong understanding of WHS, quality assurance and compliance
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A highly organised, accountable and solutions-focused approach
• A track record of delivering projects safely, on programme and to a high standard
