First Construction Pty Ltd – Mont Albert VIC is seeking a Site Manager for luxury residential projects. You will oversee site operations, coordinate trades, ensure quality and safety, and work closely with the Project Manager to deliver projects on schedule.

The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience managing residential builds from slab to handover, with a proactive mindset, strong attention to detail and clear communication across teams. A competitive salary based on experience is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience managing residential construction projects with a volume or custom home builder.
• Successfully completed several residential projects from commencement through to handover.
• Experience with townhouse projects preferred but multi-unit developments are not essential.
• Junior Site Managers with the right attitude and solid residential experience are encouraged to apply.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality workmanship.
• Communicates professionally with trades and works well as part of a team.
• Organised, reliable and able to plan ahead.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day site operations for residential construction projects.

• Carry out regular quality inspections throughout each stage of construction.
• Identify defects early and ensure issues are rectified before progressing to the next stage.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised worksite.
• Communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers and the office team.
• Monitor project progress and proactively resolve site issues.
• Ensure projects are completed to a high standard and handed over with minimal defects.

As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a Site Manager who is organised, proactive and takes pride in delivering high-quality residential projects.

About the Role

This role is ideal for a Site Manager who has already delivered several residential projects independently and understands the construction process from slab through to handover.

You may be an experienced Site Manager or a Junior Site Manager ready to take the next step. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, communicates well and genuinely cares about the quality of the finished product.

You will work closely with our Project Manager and office team to coordinate subcontractors, maintain construction quality and deliver projects safely and on schedule.

We're not simply looking for someone to keep projects moving—we're looking for someone who pays close attention to detail, takes ownership of their work, and is committed to delivering a high-quality finished product.
