Job summary

Plexxcon is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the on-site delivery of commercial construction projects from start to finish, ideally between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. You’ll drive on-site performance, manage trades and ensure safe, timely, high-standard outcomes.

Projects range from $250k to $15m; you’ll collaborate with PMs, Contracts Administrators, and wider teams to deliver exceptional client results across Northside, Sunshine Coast, and Brisbane.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all on-site operations from mobilisation through to practical completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Ensure WHS compliance, quality standards and contractual obligations.
• Proactively identify and resolve site issues before they become problems.
• Manage site logistics, programming and sequencing of works.
• Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and conduct.
• Oversee quality control, inspections and defect management.
• Work with PMs and contracts admins to support procurement, variations and reporting.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead the on-site delivery of our commercial construction projects from start to finish ideally between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. You'll be the driving force on site, managing trades, solving problems in real-time, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standard.

Working on projects ranging from $250k to $15m, you'll run the show on site while collaborating closely with Project Managers, Contracts Administrators and our wider team to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients. We are looking for a Site Manager that can work between both our Sunshine Coast and Brisbane delivery teams covering our Northside projects.

We don't do your average projects - think live sites, sporting facilities, universities, heritage buildings, hospitals and more! Oh and throw in some new builds as well.
