Job summary

Brisbane-based commercial builder is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join its delivery team. The role focuses on fit-out, refurbishment and new build projects up to $20M, with a strong emphasis on healthcare, education, office, retail and hospitality sectors.

You’ll typically manage one project at a time, stay local to Inner Brisbane and oversee subcontractors, programme, safety and quality to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Proven Site Manager experience within commercial construction.
• Strong fit out, refurbishment and/or new build experience.
• Exposure to healthcare, education, office or retail projects advantageous.
• Ability to independently manage projects from site establishment through to handover.
• Strong subcontractor coordination and programme management skills.
• Stable employment history and a team-focused approach.

The Opportunity
With plenty of work secured across Brisbane, this established commercial builder is looking for an experienced Site Manager to join its delivery team.

The current workload is heavily focused on fit out and refurbishment, with projects across healthcare, education, office and retail environments, alongside new build opportunities.

Projects are predominantly based around Inner Brisbane, with a steady mix of work up to $20M. You’ll typically manage one project at a time, depending on size and complexity, giving you the opportunity to properly take ownership of delivery without being unnecessarily stretched across multiple sites.

You’ll manage subcontractors, programme, safety and quality while working closely with the wider project team to ensure each job is delivered properly.

This would suit a Site Manager who enjoys moving between different project environments, wants to stay local to Brisbane and values working within a builder where relationships and quality matter.
