Job summary

Metricon Homes is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead residential construction projects around Caboolture, delivering defect-free homes with a strong focus on quality and OH&S compliance. You will drive site performance, coordinate trades, and ensure timely, high-quality outcomes for Metricon's customers.

You will manage client relationships, oversee subcontractors, and promote a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement on award-winning Metricon projects in a vibrant regional

Qualifications

• Must have experience as a Site Manager in the residential building industry.
• Strong project management skills and knowledge of building regulations, OHS regulations and QA systems.
• Experience in developing and managing organisational and external networks, particularly with trades.
• Customer focus with exceptional communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally, prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail with a proactive approach to all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary point of contact for clients during the build stage and ensure the overall execution and quality finish of homes.
• Manage the overall site performance of the home construction process.
• Maximise site production by ensuring subcontract trade availability.
• Schedule and meet trades on site.
• Proactively resolve build issues and liaise with clients.
• Continuously review building practices and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with cost management and project management practices.
• Foster a positive culture where customer service and teamwork are paramount.
• Ensure build qualities are to the highest standard; hand over keys and settlement packs to customers.

Reporting to the Building Support Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:

• Be the primary point of contact for clients during the build stage of the project and be responsible for the overall execution and quality finish of homes
• Managing the overall site performance of our home construction process
• Maximising site production by ensuring sub contract trade availability
• Scheduling and meeting trades on site
• Proactively resolving build issues, liaising with your clients
• Continuously reviewing building practices and procedures
• Ensuring compliance with and delivery of established cost management and project management practices; and
• Fostering a positive and focused culture where customer service and teamwork is paramount.
• Ensure build qualities are to the highest standard; and

The successful candidate will have:

• MUST HAVE experience as a Site Manager with the residential building industry
• Strong project management skills, knowledge of building regulations, OHS regulations and QA systems
• Experience in developing and managing organisational and external networks, particularly with trades
• A customer focus, exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
• Well versed in new homes contracts
• The ability to communicate professionally, prioritise and meet deadlines; and
• Implement a high level of attention to detail and a proactive approach to all tasks undertaken.
