Job summary

Metricon Homes in the Warrnambool region is seeking a passionate Site Manager to own on-site delivery of high-quality residential builds. You will lead from the front, manage schedules, coordinate trades, and ensure defect-free handovers to clients.

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you’ll drive safety, quality, and on-time performance while fostering a customer-focused team culture and strong relationships with trades and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager in residential construction.
• Strong knowledge of building regulations, OH&S and QA systems.
• Excellent project management and organisational skills.
• Established networks with trades (highly regarded).
• Customer-focused with strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Comfortable working with new homes contracts.
• Ability to prioritise, manage timelines and meet deadlines.
• High attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary point of contact for clients throughout the build journey
• Oversee site performance, ensuring quality builds and on-time delivery
• Partner closely with your Construction Manager to review progress via ClickHomes
• Maximise productivity by coordinating and securing quality trades
• Schedule and manage all on-site construction activities
• Proactively resolve build issues and maintain clear client communication
• Drive continuous improvement in building practices and processes
• Ensure compliance with cost, project management, and OH&S standards
• Foster a positive, customer-focused and team-oriented culture
• Deliver homes to the highest quality standards; and
• Hand over keys and settlement packs - celebrate the final milestone with your client.
