Job summary

Process Engineering Technologies in Sydney is seeking an experienced Construction Leading Hand/Foreman to oversee day-to-day site activities across multiple Sydney locations. This hands-on role requires leading crews, coordinating pipework, concrete and steel installs, and ensuring safety, quality and timely delivery.

You will read drawings, manage trades, liaise with project managers and client reps, and uphold safety standards on busy industrial sites. Immediate start on offer.

Qualifications

• Experience as Leading Hand, Foreman or Senior Tradesperson.
• White Card required.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Own vehicle.
• Ability to read construction drawings.
• Strong safety focus on site.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site activities and coordinate crews across multiple projects.
• Plan and coordinate daily site activities.
• Supervise pipework, machinery and steelwork installation.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate trades, labourers and subcontractors.
• Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.
• Monitor quality and progress of works.
• Provide direction and support to site personnel.
• Liaise with Project Managers and client representatives.
• Ensure site safety requirements and procedures are followed.
• Identify and resolve day-to-day site issues.
• Assist with confined space work where required.
• Complete site documentation, pre-starts and daily records.
• Work across various project locations throughout Sydney.
• Work in physically demanding and industrial environments.
• Limited overtime available.
