Job summary

New Venture Recruitment is seeking a Civil Foreman to supervise day-to-day operations across Sydney civil projects. You will lead crews and subcontractors, manage plant and materials, and ensure work is delivered safely, on schedule and to specification.

The role requires strong ability to read plans, interpret drawings, and conduct pre-starts and toolbox talks, with a hands-on leadership style and solid WHS knowledge. Join a busy, growth-focused contractor with ongoing opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven Civil Foreman / Site Foreman in civil construction.
• Strong knowledge of earthworks, shoring, drainage.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings and specs.
• Safety-focused with WHS knowledge and hands-on leadership.
• Reliable, organized, and able to manage crews and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day site operations on civil projects.
• Lead crews and subcontractors; manage plant and materials.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to spec.
• Interpret drawings and conduct pre-starts and toolbox talks.
• Monitor progress and liaise with project managers and clients.
